316L stainless steel
316L steel all the way through — not brass, not a plated alloy. When gold sits on top of brass, sweat reaches the brass, and that is what marks your skin. There is no brass under this gold.
02 · The finish
PVD gold plating
The gold is bonded to the steel in a vacuum chamber instead of dipped in a tank. No plated piece lasts forever, ours included — so we back it instead of promising it.
03 · The test
Shower, swim, sweat
Made to stay on through all of it. Rinse with fresh water after the sea or the pool and it lasts longer — but nothing here needs taking off at the door.
